Whistleblower Disclosures
Whistleblowers play an important role in identifying and calling out misconduct and harm to consumers and the community. To encourage whistleblowers to come forward with their concerns and protect them when they do, the Corporations Act 2001 (Corporations Act) gives certain people legal rights and protections as whistleblowers.
If you have been directed to this ‘Whistleblower Form’, a company or organisation has appointed Devaneys to externally and independently assess and investigate Whistleblower concerns or disclosures relating to the company or organisation.
Whistleblowers can provide their name and contact details when they make a disclosure. They can also report anonymously. If you decide not to provide your identity and contact details, we may not be able to contact you with updates following your disclosure.
If you decide to provide your identity and contact details, that information will not be provided to the company or organisation that the disclosure relates to. Devaneys will contact you to discuss whether you are an ‘eligible whistleblower’ and consult with you regarding the next steps in the process.
